   Hello Lori!, just recently I put two and two together . I was reading the messages in the Quebec family and saw your avatar and remembered that we met at Fort Hamilton. Remember me ? we hug after your boyfriend and my son had left - You were crying standing in the corner and I was was just heading back to our car, we saw each other and we hug.    Hey there. I got my first letter today! I am so excited! It was very short because he said he didn't have much time. Just a lot of I love you's and I miss you's. It was dated Tuesday, 4/21. He said that the first week was very very hard, and that he would write more tomorrow. I started crying like crazy!
   
   I wonder if the two of them are friends? For all we know they could share a bunk!!!!

   Yeah none of us have gotten a letter from our recruit yet, just the DI letter.. a lot of the girls on here say its takes like 2-3 weeks to get our first letters from them.. and prob longer for them to get ours.. which totally sucks.. this site is amazing though. it really is your marine family.
